"Ladies Day" Leeds Castle’s Festival of Flowers of 2018 in UK

 

An Elegant Affair!

Thank you Leeds Castle for inviting Dr. Solomon Leong again as one of the featured designers at this year’s flower festival.  The work in the inner hall has made use of over 10,000 pieces of traditional paper and many many David Austin roses! Dr. Solomon 和他的“東方淑女”@ 2018英國利茲城堡花卉節

 

每年秋天，被譽為“世界上最浪漫美麗的古堡”的利茲城堡都會如期舉行花卉節，今年的主題“Ladies Day 淑女日”，靈感來自高定服裝，上流社會及賽馬樂趣，多位國際花藝設計師將聯合創作花藝，為城堡增添奢華優雅氣息。

 

其中來自香港，獲獎無數的國際知名花藝設計師 梁靈剛博士 Dr. Solomon Leong 再度參展，並獲得一致的讚嘆。

 

Dr. Solomon 的花藝作品一向充分反映出香港作為東西方文化交匯地的特色，他國際化的花藝創作風格，卻同時蘊含著濃厚的中國文化氣息。在千年曆史的利茲城堡裡，Dr. Solomon 以 “東方淑女” 為創作基調，用細膩的線條和紋理，描繪東方古代女性的氣質與風韻，融合花藝設計與圓滑流暢的內殿、拱門和樓梯的建築特色，實現微妙的平衡。

 

Dr. Solomon 在作品中運用了大量的傳統友禪紙、大衛奧斯汀庭院玫瑰及秋季時令花材。而曾經為 Dr. Solomon 帶來第13個英國皇家園藝協會切爾西花展花藝比賽大獎的火鶴之王 Anthurium Veitchii 也被刷上金箔，再次出現在他的花藝作品當中。

 

Dr. Solomon 非常感謝利茲城堡再次邀請他為其花卉節作花藝設計，也感謝好友 Zee Chik 特製美麗的粘土“白雲”，為花藝裝置更添飄逸夢幻氣息。
