FUNDAMENTALS IN FLORAL DESIGN

 

This is a comprehensive course in the fundamentals of floral design. Designed by international floral designer Dr. Solomon Leong and taught by experienced instructors who are also members of the AIFD (American Institute of Floral Designers).

 

SOLOMON BLOEMEN is an official education partner of AIFD and the structure of this course has primarily referred to their textbook “The AIFD Guide to Floral Design: Terms, Techniques, and Traditions.”

 

This course is available on both Wednesday nights and Saturday mornings. While both courses cover the same subjects, they are structured differently to fit the need of different learning pace

 

A. WEDNESDAY NIGHT COURSE (GRADUAL PACE) ~ F1M1-F1M5

 

• There are 5 modules in this course and each module contains 4 lessons with a total of 20 lessons. Lesson is to be taken on a weekly basis with 1 to 2 weeks break in between modules.

• A certificate will be awarded to students upon completion of all 5 module. (90% attendance rate is required).

• Estimated length to complete this course: 6-7 months

• This certificate constitutes part of the basic requirement for our CFD accredited course.
