1. How do I book a course?

Courses can be booked online when you register for a course on our website.  Click here to visit our online store: https://www.solomonbloemen.com/flower-school

 

2. How do I pay?

You can pay in full by cheque, transfer, cash or PayPal when booking a course on our website or by email / phone. Full and final payment must be made 10 days prior to the first lesson of the course.

 

3. What time do classes start and finish?

Times of classes will vary according the course selected. The school opens for lessons from 10:30am and closes at 9:30pm. The precise class times of the course you select will be clearly indicated on our website, at the time of your booking.

 

4. Are your courses accredited?

At the end of your course you will receive a certificate of completion from the SOLOMON BLOEMEN Flower School. To achieve a certificate you must attend 75% of the course.

 

5. Who will be taking my class?

The course will be taught either by Dr. Solomon Leong or one of the other AIFD accredited teachers at SOLOMON BLOEMEN. The teacher of the class will also be indicated on our website at the time of booking.

 

6. What supports does your school offer me after my course has finished?

We are very proud of the school’s social media presence that allows former students the ability to remain closely connected to the exciting world of flower arranging and also what is happening at Solomon Bloemen. We have an active Facebook group called the “SB Club”, where contacts and friendships made at the school can continue and grow though the common love of flowers.

7. What other learning opportunities does SOLOMON BLOEMEN flower school provide to its students?

Because of the demand for Dr. Solomon’s design expertise there is often opportunities for students to be involved in large installations and events, both inside and outside Hong Kong. As well as being thoroughly exciting, these events a give the students great first hand insight into the world of large scale flower arranging and installations. This is truly a valuable opportunity to widen students’ knowledge and horizons. Recent events have included installation for Leeds Castle in UK and exhibition in Tokyo, Japan.

 

8. Do you offer private one-on-one tutorials?

9. What happens if I need to cancel a lesson?

If you need to cancel a lesson please inform us immediately. We regret because of the nature of the lessons and the materials that once lessons have been booked students will not be entitled to change or substitute lessons. The school will not be able to make any repayment of course fees, or offer make-up lessons.

 

10. Do you offer flowers for weddings or other events?

SOLOMON BLOEMEN is a bespoke flower design studio, offering an extensive floral design service.

11. Is lunch or other refreshments provided?

Most of our courses are half day courses and while we do not provide refreshments the schools premises are in the heart of Central with its wide variety of restaurants, cafes and coffee shops.
