母親節特輯：鮮花頌親恩

【花藝教室】母親節，未必一定要送康乃馨，皆因現代媽媽新潮貪靚，親手插出繽紛的花束，會令媽咪喜出望外。粉色系列最能代表媽媽的溫柔，到了下月父親節，只需改以較中性的顏色，如藍、綠，一樣可以送給爸爸。

明星級花藝設計師梁靈剛（ Soloman），自幼看着母親替教會插花，他在旁跟着亂插一通，埋下愛花的種子。人生首次送花，也是送給母親大人。

母親節臨近，梁靈剛教大家自製「螺旋型」花束，為歐洲花藝基本風格，整體渾圓豐滿，花束在手，令阿媽開心得後生十年。花束毋須花巧，採用粉色、時令花材，只要每天換水，可放7至10天。

花材：繡球（主體）、牡丹、鬱金香、豌豆花

重點技巧：

•抓緊花莖

•花材要按同一方向以螺旋狀拼成圓球

•圓球中間點應高於外圍

1〉把所有花材，折去花束綑綁點以下的綠葉。以三朵繡球作主體，以螺旋型排列成球狀。

2〉插進三朵牡丹。

3〉再放五朵複瓣鬱金香，放中間或旁邊皆可，再加四朵單瓣鬱金香。

4〉再插進日本豌豆花，數量隨意。

5〉用繩綁好花束，底部全部剪斜腳。

完成！

花藝大師啟蒙源自英倫後園

梁靈剛初期學習優雅的日式插花，後來移情西式，創作風格深受歐洲薰陶，曾參加多項國際花展及比賽，是首位連續四年在 Chelsea Flower Show贏得大獎的香港人。楊千嬅、陳貝兒出嫁時，手執的花球便是由他設計；現為香港花會主席、美國花藝設計師學院會員等。

這位花藝大師的啟蒙，源自長滿雜草的後花園。他的家人早年移居英國，他亦到了英倫求學，住在自家物業，「是一間位於倫敦郊區、很鄉村的小房子。」有天覺得後花園亂草一堆，故買了點種子，隨意灑落。

胡亂播種，未幾卻長出花來，驚嘆的感覺，他至今難忘，「看見園子竟然長了花，覺得好神奇，加上參觀 Chelsea花展後受到啟發，從此愛上花藝。」

梁靈剛其後雖回流香港，但每年都返英國充電，呆在那熟悉的後園，「花藝畢竟是創作工作，需要小休以激發靈感。」

他的教室一室幽香，「來學插花的，男女是三七之比，男生比想像中多，而且往往比女生學得更認真，比較重視技巧。」男性學插花，有些是因為唸設計，有些更單純地想為家居扮靚，尤其配合型格設計，「花藝界的設計大師，都以男性居多，點解？我都唔明！可能女仔學插花是為消閒減壓，但男仔會視為事業。」

賣花姑娘插竹葉，他常與花為伴，但仍然愛花，他的家有個大窗台，可以充當花園，「插得好不好看並不重要，自己喜歡就得，重點是在整理盆栽的過程中，能讓精神放鬆。你對它好，它會報答你的。」英國的家，是梁靈剛的靈感泉源。梁靈剛喜愛收集舊茶具與舊容器，「有些調味料瓶、藥水樽，當作花瓶都很有趣漂亮，去歐洲不妨留意。」

家居植物擺放位置

廳：宜放大盆、香氣較濃的植物（圖），因客廳的人氣流動，能帶動香氣。

房：放細盆，且不宜太香，以免影響休息。

廚：普遍多油煙，故可放綠色植物淨化空氣。

浴：放需要較多水份的品種，如繡球。

蘭花

炎夏盆栽首選蘭花

「植物是歐洲人生活的一部份，他們未必買得貴，但會買得密；英國人的家多數有花園，愛在園子摘花，對品種要求不高，但他們對顏色有要求，要襯間屋。很多香港人平日不買花，但在重要的日子，卻願意在花藝上用很多錢，加上單位通常較細，故傾向選擇精緻的品種。」梁靈剛說。

香港步入炎夏，家居盆栽首選蘭花（如蕙蘭），其他熱帶花種如紅掌、綠掌、天堂鳥，都很耐放；而需要大量水份的繡球，若畀足心機日日換水、剪枝，並添加微量漂白水，即可減少混濁及蚊蟲，可放超過十天。

母親節由來

香港被英國管治多年，但母親節卻跟隨5月第二個星期日的「美國版」，冷落了英國版。

英國版的母親節，是以復活節往前推算40天（不計周日）齋戒月的第四個星期日為準，大約在3月中，對港人來說很難記。據資料記載，十九世紀時，此節日是讓外出打工的女傭放假回家，後來才演變成母親節。

BD1. Bridal Design Beginners (Thursdays)

Dates: 15, 22, 29 Mar, 5, 12 Apr 2012

Time: PM (7:00pm-9:00pm)

Content: Introduction to bridal floral designs: knowledge on the characters of different kinds of floral materials and how to condition them, techniques on hand tied bouquets and on using bouquet holders. This course will also cover basic colour coordination skills. 2 lesson on hand-tied Bouquet, 2 lesson on Bouquet holder, 1 lesson on Corsage and Ring pillow.

(NEW) BD2. Bridal Design Advanced (Spring flowers) (Saturdays)

Content: Further developments on Bouquet designs skill include mixing different materials with different techniques with focus of spring floral materials. Skills include wiring, weaving, and conditioning of spring flowers such as tulips, hyacinth and other delicate blooms.

BD3 Bridal Designs Designer (Sundays)

Content:Designer class for those who already possess basic skills and would like to explore more about bridal bouquet designs. Every lesson will be a new challenge based on different elements of design such as specific technique, colour or function. Each participant is encouraged to inject their own style into the finished piece based on the subject matter introduced in that lesson. Each participant must finnish their piece within a given time frame.

FD1 Beginners flower arranging (Mondays)

Content: Introduction to flower arranging. Start with the basics concepts of western flower arranging such as growing point, proportion, forms and space. Every lesson we will introduce a new technique such as hand-tied and the use of floral foam. At the end of this course participants will have a good basic overview of the art of flower arranging.

FD2 Creative Floral Design (SATs)

除此之外，不同氣質的新娘子配搭相襯的鮮花，隨時可收意想不到的造型妙效！予人公主感覺的準娘子，活潑靈巧的繡球、大或小牡丹、庭院玫瑰、碗豆花，似牡丹的玫瑰，都是適合製作花球的花類。喜歡簡約的話，馬蹄蘭、蕙蘭、蝴蝶蘭都是最佳選擇，而鬱金香線條分明，更可代表你的率性個性。

對花藝有濃厚興趣，並擁有哲學博士學位，曾參加無數國際大型花展及競賽，並獲殊榮的花藝專家梁靈剛表示，香港人非常喜愛鮮花，無論是節慶、生日、畢業、壽筵或婚禮等，都喜歡採用大量鮮花來營造歡愉及隆重的氣氛。他指出，近年來香港人對鮮花的需求有遞增的趨勢，除了一些喜慶的日子外，購買鮮花也成為日常生活點綴及品味的表現，更有不少人會購買優美獨特的鮮花，放置家中來減低工作壓力。

梁靈剛表示，以往在婚宴上的花藝布置缺少度身訂造的概念，隨著現今新人對婚宴的要求提升，為顧客特製不同的花藝擺設、花球及鮮花頭飾等服務愈趨完美。「很多新人都希望自己的婚宴具有個人化的特色，所以花藝布置，甚至一個小小的頭飾，都要迎合婚宴整體的風格。更有不少新人會要求採用罕有及獨特的鮮花作為擺設。 」他認為，作為花藝專家除了要對花的種類、特性及花藝製造技巧有一定的專業知識，更須要有創意及嘗新的膽量。他鼓勵有意投身行業的年輕人，應該多參與世界各地所舉辦的花藝展覽，以增廣見識及擴闊行業內的人際網絡，對日後發展會有很大幫助。
